Otter Love Hightlights - On Water & Land

Beautiful film of two Northern Otters mating in British Columbia Canada, by the ocean. Otters live on land and water, their den is usually very near the water, in rocky settings. They are very clever and fun to watch. If they decide to make your boat their home, then you will have a smelly boat! The usually do not bother you, but if you or your dog get too close you will hear some screams and vicious snarling. If they are really upset they might attack a dog in the water if it gets too close. You don't often get to see them mating. When they mate the female might also scream quite loudly. I have heard this and its quite alarming. When the mating is over the female will run up and down the beach screaming (I don't have it on this film but hope to capture that soon!!) Please enjoy.
