Korketrekkeren ("The Corkscrew") is a popular publicly open toboggan/sleigh course that starts at Frognerseteren, where toboggans can be rented. The Holmenkollen ski arena is open for Nordic skiing/XC skiing most of the time, with occasional competitions in XC skiing and biatholon. For downhill skiing, the Tryvann ski resort is located on the top of the hill and offers ski rental, more cafes, and ski school for newcomers.
