Orji Uzor Kalu's multi billion dollar STEEL MILL Igbere

Over 50 hectares of land donated by Okafia community Igbere for the Orji Uzor Kalu's steel Milling industry Igbere expected to create tens of thousands of new jobs at completion. Following the official reception the previous day of the team of engineers who arrived Igbere from the US to carry out the engineering sketch for the much anticipated Orji Uzor Kalu's STEEL ROLLING MILL IGBERE, the community on 22nd May fufiled their promise to provide the land needed for the massive project. As early as 9.00am, the Eze of Okafia Igbere arrived Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu's country home CAMP NEYA Igbere in the company of the Eze of Umisi and led Kalu and the team of engineers to the site located at Okafia Igbere. After the inspection, the engineers confirmed the location as suitable for the project and expressed delight at the pace of progress so far. Kalu also thanked the Okafia community for the quick provision of the land and noted that about 20 engineers from PRIME GROUP India have already arrived in Abuja. According to him, over 170 expertriates shall live permanently in Igbere during the construction work and over 5000 workers shall be employed in the industry on the day one of operations. The industry is expected to provide tens of thousands of jobs to the youths after a couple of years of operations and expansions. Kalu promised to personally reconstruct all the major roads leading to the site to eneble them withstand the increased traffic and pressure from the trucks going to and from the industry Again BRAVO OUK!
