One Minute Watch Review. Seiko 7d48-0ab48 Coutura Kinetic Perpetual Calendar

www.TexasWatchTalk.com.  This watch was a gift from a friend and its a cool watch.  Powered by the movement of you body, turning mechanical energy into electrical.   This caliber is a triumph of classical watch-making and modern microelectronics. It's not a Spring Drive but I think, historically, it was a evolutionary step that got Seiko to the Spring Drive. When the watch senses 24 hours of inactivity it puts itself into suspended animation.  Aka relay mode.   When not worn, it can operate normally for 6 months on a full charge, after which it goes into "suspended animation" mode for up to four years. The case size, 46mm w/crown.  The Kinetic Perpetual caliber corrects the date, day, month and year, the calendar automatically adjusts for odd,and even months including February of leap years up to February 28, 2100.
