On the rescue boat as migrants flee Libya. - BBC News

Record numbers of migrants have already tried to reach Europe from North Africa this year. More than 7,000 have been saved from boats in distress in the Mediterranean in the last few days alone. The Italian coastguard says as many as two hundred may have drowned. It's thought they were trying to make the treacherous crossing from Libya, in search of a new life.
