When Life throws Lemons at You
You should make Lemonade out of it...!!
Friends Summers season is already here and we all can feel the heat.
In Keto we have to maintain a very good electrolyte balance specially in summers because we experience a lot of water loss due to sweating.
So this week, to beat the heat, we made this nice Lemonade recipe and trust me you will love it too.
It is simple, easy and a quick recipe.
Let’s not wait further and get started with it.
Ingredients:
1. Large Lemons – 2
2. Lemon Zest of these lemons
3. Sweetener Stevia or Erythritol or Xylitol – 1 Tbsp
4. Pink Salt – To Taste
5. Ice Cube – 8-10
6. Water – ½ cup
Recipe:
1. Take out the zest of the lemons using grater or peeler.
2. Take this zest and ½ cup water in a pan and give it a boil. Please do not overboil as it may lose its aroma and color.
3. Strain it and keep it aside to cool down.
4. Squeeze the juice of lemons and keep it aside.
5. Now take a blender and put 2-3 cubes ice in it, zest extract, lemon juice, sweetener, pink salt and give it a whisk.
6. Decorate a glass with lemon slice and put ice cubes into it.
7. Pour the blended mix into the glass and top it up with mint leaves
Enjoy the super chilled LEMONADE!!
