Old VS New Strings: Ernie Ball 10-46

Both strings are Ernie Ball Regular Slinky (10-46) I find the difference in tone is most noticeable when played clean. The new set definately sounds a lot more alive, clear and crisp compared to the old set. This is not too surprising as the old set has had nearly a years use out of them I barely notice a difference when playing Riffs however there is much less sustain when holding notes and playing lead with the old set...
