Hello! Today I want to show you me new axe restoration video. That old rusty splitting axe I found at flea market and bought for $1 USD. As the seller said this old axe is well suited for chopping wood. The ax has good weight. Under a layer of dirt and rust I saw a stamp but I can't figure it out right away. After I used a rust remover liquid and saw 3 blacksmith stamps. Some digits and one symbol. Then I used angle grinder machine to remove a dent from old hammer blows. First wood handle in last moment get two cracks but I can't understand why... And I started all over again. In the end I used a two components paint and linseed oil. Sure, after axe review I make hard test for my new splitting axe. Test on an old stump of acacia tree.
