The selection is composed of two parts - the first part is called Old Friend and the second part is called Sweep. Old Friend (Old Faithful, Hallelujah Dance, Holy Dance, Hallelu, etc) is a very well known dance created by Sylvia Yellin and used as a generic at many Messianic congregations. Sweep was created by Trish B as a second part. At SoDC, Tcherk Coupé, Lean, Old Friend, and Sweep are all danced together interchangeably, usually with TC or OF as a first part, and L or S as a second part. Tcherk Coupé & Lean can be found here. http://youtu.be/OHCeMkVBW4w These dances are used as generics, which is to say, because of their adaptability to many different pieces of music and their relative ease, they are danced to many different songs in our worship services. http://jeremiah31.wikispaces.com/Generic+-+Old+Friend http://jeremiah31.wikispaces.com/Generic+-+Sweep http://jeremiah31.wikispaces.com/Four+Generics+Family+-+Steps+and+Explanation
