Oil Painting winter scene with Michael Pintar

3.5 hour session where I created this oil painting of an outdoor winter scene near my home. Shows the set up considerations, block in and almost every brushstroke start to finish. The subject is a partially frozen river that cuts between a woods and field. Sticky snow fell several days before. The photo captured a cloudy day where shadows were very minimal.
