In this Physics video lecture in HINDI for class 12 we explained and derived Ohm's Law in vector for, i.e., current density at a point is the product of conductivity and the electric field of that point, j = σ E. From the more practical form of the Ohm's law we know that V = I R, i.e., potential difference across a conductor is the product of the current through that conductor and the resistance of that conductor. As we know that the potential difference across a conductor is related to the electric field inside that conductor, current is related to the current density and resistance is related to the resistivity and hence conductivity. Putting all those relations in the equation, V = I R we get the vector form of Ohm's law, j = σ E.
