Official hymn of Nordic World Ski Championships Trentino Fiemme 2013

The imaginative Balkan musician Goran Bregović is the author of this hymn, recorded in collaboration with the choirs and music corps of Trentino. The Dolomites and the main activities of a typical holiday in the beautiful valleys of Trentino are the main protagonists of this masterpiece, which aims at paying tribute to all the beauties of this Italian region, promoting its name on an international level. The live premiere of the hymn will take place in Trento, in the main square of the city, during the official opening ceremony of Trentino Fiemme 2013, scheduled on February 20, 2013, at 18:00 CET. At 21:00 CET, the show will continue with the concert of the «Champagne for Gypsies» tour, featuring Goran Bregović and his Wedding and Funeral Band, at the Auditorium Santa Chiara in Trento: two full hours of music bringing together the rhythmic and melodic traditions of the Balkans with the most varied genres, from rock and jazz to folk and ethnic music. The revenues of this concert will be donated entirely to the Association «Fondriest for Children» to support the projects of AIL, the Italian Association against Leukaemia, Lymphomas and Myeloma).
