Oct 26, 2012 Russia_Medvedev opens new chemical production plant in Cherepovets

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Friday visited the PhosAgro-Cherepovets company in the Vologda region and inaugurated a new carbamide production plant there. PhosAgro-Cherepovets is a major supplier of phosphorus-based fertilizers in Russia. Later, he attended the signing of a cooperation agreement between PhosAgro and Belgium's Prayon. The agreement involves PhosAgro gaining access to Prayon technology for recovering rare earth elements.
