Celebrating 100th Years in passengers service for the BRT/BMT lines. The BRT (Brooklyn Rapid Transit) which is now named the BMT (Brooklyn Manhattan Tranit) was the first to be built in passenger service and now the New York City Transit Museum celebrate 100th years bringing out the Vintage Trains to run express on the Brighton B/Q Line
After having their fun for the 100th year BMT celebration on the Brighton Line all of the NYCTM Vintage Trains headed towards Coney Island Yard to rest for another special day.
In this video we have the 1949 Budd R11, 1955 American Car Foundry R16-The Money Train, 1966 St. Louis R38s,& 1969 St. Louis R42s all couple and named as the Trains Of Many Metals couple with 1927 Pressed Steel D-Type Triplex Car coming from Ocean Parkway station and now both couple vintage trains are now bypassing West 8th St - New York Aquarium and heading towards Coney Island-Stillwell Ave station.
