NY police say Syfullo Saipov planned NYC truck attack for weeks

New York police say the suspect behind Manhattan truck attack had been planning the attack for weeks. Authorities said on Wednesday the suspect, Sayfullo Saipov, a 29-year-old from Uzbekistan had links to "terrorist" groups and he'd studied instructions posted by ISIL on social media on how to carry out the attack. Police searched the suspect's home in New Jersey throughout the night, but indicated Saipov was not on any FBI watch lists prior to the attack.
