NxGen Patented Gen 4 Sewn Low Leak Airbag Demonstration Video

NxGen Gen 4 Cushions match the performance of coated One Piece Woven (OPW) and Seal-n-Sew Airbags. The cushions use a simultaneous feed of ribbon fabric to the seams. The ribbon fabric is automatically centered to the sewing needle on both exterior surfaces of the airbag's fabric during the sewing process. Gen4 seam inherently tracks wherever the operator desires a seam. Standard lower cost manual industrial sewing machines are easily retrofitted for application of the Gen4 seams. The ribbon fabric is slit and transverse wound onto spools similar to the sewing threads. Sewing Time Through-put is similar to Standard sewn airbags by utilizing the higher speed (RPM) machines to make the higher stitch density Gen 4 seams.
