The 2009 NSW Farmer of the Year, Michael O'Brien, owns two properties totalling almost 40,000 hectares south of Walgett in North West NSW, where he runs a mixed dryland cropping, Angus cattle and Dohne sheep livestock enterprise.
The Farmer of the Year competition is run by Industry and Investment NSW and the NSW Farmers' Association, with support from The Land and the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW. This video was filmed and produced by Industry and Investment NSW.
