NOWHERE MAN by Tony Rivers and The Castaways (EMI)

TONY RIVERS & THE CASTAWAYS sing their 'unreleased' EMI version of the Beatles song 'NOWHERE MAN'. Scheduled for a release date in 1966 EMI were asked to withdraw the record prior to release at the request of Brian Epstein, who had since signed Tony and the boys to a management contract. Eventually they were given a Beach Boys song to record and released 'Girl Don't Tell Me' on Immediate Records, with Andrew 'Loog' Oldham producing and a yet to be famous Glyn Johns engineering.
