- Scene 1 -
Hi this is Jensen with bidetsPLUS and today we’ll be reviewing the Novita KB 260. The Novita KB 260 is a full featured electronic bidet toilet seat, but comes at a more attractive price point when compared to Novita’s higher priced models.
- Scene 2 -
Recently acquired by Kohler, the Novita bidet company is one of the largest bidet seat manufacturers in the world, with nearly four million units produced worldwide. The KB 260 is a mid-range offering from Novita, but still comes with all the main features you’d look for in a leading bidet seat.
- Scene 3 -
Towards the top of your picture, you can see the Novita logo centered across the rear of the unit. To the right of the Novita logo, there are five indicator lights. The first light is a power light. The second light is for the child lock, while the third and fourth lights are for the two different power saving modes. The last light on the right tells you if the bidet’s heated toilet seat feature is turned on.
- Scene 4 -
Here’s a look of the Novita KB 260 from the side view. The grey button you see towards the rear is a quick-release lever, which detaches the bidet from its mounting bracket. If you look closely, you can see the electric cord extending from this side of the unit, and wrapping around the back of the toilet.
- Scene 5 -
Here’s a view of the opposite side of the seat. You can see a small control panel here which you can use if your remote control out of reach. Three buttons are available – there’s feminine wash, posterior wash, and a stop button. To the left of the control panel, you can see the water inlet where you connect the water hose.
- Scene 6 -
The wireless remote control for the Novita KB260 features large, easy to use buttons. The extra large buttons across the top are for the most commonly used features such as rear wash, feminine wash, the dryer and the stop button. The smaller buttons down below are the adjustment controls which allow you to control water pressure, water temperature and the position of the spray nozzle.
A wall mounting kit does come included, so you can mount the remote on your bathroom wall.
- Scene 7 -
The Novita KB260 is powered by a 2 in 1 nozzle system. The posterior nozzle is made of hardened stainless steel. The feminine nozzle is actually inside the posterior nozzle, and extends out only when activated. Here’s the feminine wash in action. Notice the feminine nozzle extending out, and angled more forward for women.
Now we’ll switch over to the posterior wash. Notice how the feminine nozzle is now retracted.
Nozzle position can be adjusted so you can adjust the spray more forward or more backward to best suit your body. Water temperature and water pressure are also adjustable.
Now we’re demonstrating the “Oscillate” feature which moves the nozzle back and forth, extending the cleaning area.
- Scene 8 -
Here’s a view of the air dry. Use this feature when done washing, as it helps with residual moisture.
- Scene 9 -
The bidet also features a slow-closing seat and lid.
- Scene 10 -
Additional features on the Novita KB260 include the popular heated toilet seat. Seat temperature is adjustable, and you can turn this feature off during the warmer months. The bidet is also self-cleaning, as it rinses the wash nozzles with water before and after each use. And as mentioned earlier – there are two different power saving modes to decrease energy consumption.
