Nose Endoscopy : Allergic Fungal Sinusitis with Sinu-Nasal Polyposis & Post Nasal Discharge (PND)

This video show nose endoscopy of young lady with Allergic Fungal Sinusitis with Sinu-Nasal Polyposis & Post Nasal Discharge (PND) . She presented with left side nose blockage , discharge , frequent cold , Post Nasal Discharge (PND) & Headache since last 3 month . Allergic fungal sinusitis : It is an allergic reaction to fungi, in which fungal debris, allergic mucin and nasal polyposis are formed in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. There is no invasion of the sinus mucosa with fungus. There may be expansion of the sinus or bone erosion due to pressure, but no fungal invasion. Treatment : Saline Nasal Wash Pre- and post-operative systemic steroids Endoscopic surgical clearance of the sinuses Immunotherapy Thanks .... Have a Good Day !!!
