North Korea Leader Kim Jong-un Makes First Public Appearance in 20 Days

After rumours the North Korean leader had died, Kim John-un has made his first public appearance in 20 days, according to state media.

He has not been seen since 11 April and had vanished from public life for weeks, sparking rumours he had died on an operating table or was injured in military missile tests. 

Today the state broadcaster KRT has released this video apparently showing the dictator attending the completion ceremony of a fertiliser factory.

Speculation over the welfare of the North Korean leader has been mounting for days but the ultra-secretive state has not broken its silence.
