Nord Rotary Speaker Tutorial | Leslie Speaker Discovery

If you play a Nord keyboard and you ever asked yourself, "What the heck is a rotary speaker and what's the big deal?" this video is for you. In this Nord tutorial, we'll explore the Nord Electro 5 and the ability to emulate a rotary speaker (Leslie speaker). We also spend some time discovering some basic background and history on the Leslie speaker that ends with a nice example of it in action. Also discussed is the "half moon switch" accessory for all Nord keyboards with the manual drawbars. Throughout most of the video, you'll hear a great background track from Argent called "Hold Your Head Up" which as always been in my opinion the best example of a B3/Leslie combo rock music has to offee. I later learned that Rick Wakeman (keyboard player from Yes) claimed that this track is the best Organ solo he's ever heard.
