Noctua Quanta LB6M Mod vs Nexus N3K-3048TP-1GE

I swapped the fans in my Quanta/QCT LB6m. I installed Noctua fans in all positions including the power supply in my LB6M. It's now extremely quiet. If you want to do this your self you will need the following 3x NF-A4x 20PWM Fans 2x NF-A4x10 FLX Fans Fan pin remover tool / PSU re-sleeving kit or a small screwdriver. Open the chassis, replace the 3 PWM fans, it's cake. The hard part is the PSU fans. You'll have to re-wire them in the following order. red black yellow. Then plug them in and screw it back together. If you don't have PWM fans it will whine and moan about having overheat alarms. That's normal. Use PWM fans for the 3 in the chassis. The 2 in the PSU are non-pwm and you MUST use the 10mm ones. The ones in the PSUs are 15mm. Happy modding. I'm not responsible if you break your switch/if it catches fire. Do this at your own risk.
