The Air Zoom Talaria is definitely one of my all time favorite Nike runners to come out in the late 90's. When this shoe came out it reminded me so much about the Reebok Insta Pump Fury, that I loved it right away, in addition to the beautiful neon yellow, that's how the colorway was called back in the day, it featured the new Phylon midsole and a 3/4 bottom loaded Air Zoom bag, which was the top of the Nike tech at the moment. One thing to notice from that time was the missing toe lip or protector, that many other Nike models from that time incorporated and it was really hard not to scuff those toes when you wear this shoe a lot and you are not careful.
Throughout the years, Nike has retroed this model several times, but it seems every time I somehow manage to miss it, now I was finally able to get them. The retail price from Nike Lab was on a high side for my taste and at $175 plus tax, I was not even considering it, but as always patience pays off and several months down the line, I am now able to grab them from SNS over in Europe, where the price at the moment is $120, a much more acceptable one. At the end I can say, this is one of the most comfortable retro models in my possession and I am glad that Nike did not destroy this classic with unnecessary changes.
