NI Massive - 808 & Sub Bass Tips and Tricks

Making a good 808 style kick in Massive is so simple that it can actually be hard. The idea is to use a Sine wavetable and tune it really low and filter out any unwanted high frequencies. But if you did just that, your 808/sub kick sound would be very dull. You have to find ways to dirty up the sound and make it more interesting outside of the oscillators. Cheers Echo Sound Works
