New Saint Andrews begins its 20th academic year Friday, August 9, 2013, with the College's annual Convocation ceremony at the Moscow Church of the Nazarene.
Guest speaker Dr. Carl E. Zylstra is the Executive Director of the Association of Reformed Colleges and Universities, an association of 10 Reformed colleges across North America, including New Saint Andrews. Dr. Zylstra's talk is titled "New Saint Andrews and Reformed Higher Education in a Global Context: The Next 20 Years." He is the immediate past president of Dordt College (Iowa) where he served for 16 years. While Convocation marks the official beginning of the school year, incoming freshmen reported earlier in the week for the Prologus Studiorum orientation courses and activities. In all, 51 new undergraduate and graduate students will make up the incoming class. Jerusalem Term classes begin Monday, August 12.
