New Rolex Sea-Dweller - 50th Anniversary Ref 126600 - Baselworld 2017

Out of all the Rolex watches coming out of Baselworld 2017, this is my favorite! The 50th Anniversary Rolex Sea-Dweller Reference 126600 is a 43mm piece that is really a “next-level” diving watch, at least when you compare it to a standard Submariner. I would even venture to say that the watch is a Deepsea killer! Rolex hit it right on the money with the design of this Sea-Dweller 50th Anniversary edition. I love the red lettering on the dial of the watch and the bezel has a great aesthetic appeal as well (even though it looks very similar to that of the Rolex Deepsea). The model that I reviewed on this video is one from a client and personal friend by the name of Pito Luna. Pito, I think that you have a timeless keeper here! What's the only problem I see right now with the new Rolex Sea Dweller? Availability! Good luck trying to find one. It's definitely not easy. If you're one of the lucky ones, you might pay as much as $15,000 for the 43mm watch. I know a few people that have already bought it for that price. Keep in mind that the watch retails for 10,800 Swiss Francs (CHF), which is around $11,125 based on the current CHFUSD exchange rate as of the day of this review.
