New Melones Winter Finesse Fishing

This past weekend I hit up New Melones Reservoir for some Winter Finesse Fishing and it was a grind. The fish finder was key for me on this trip and if I didn't have one I would have struggled to catch any. From the get go I was utilizing the fish finder to find schooling fish and then casting to them after backing off. Throughout the day I covered a lot of ground with my eyes locked on the Elite Ti2 just cruising around the depth I was seeing fish and then when I saw a decent mark I would drop on them. I tied numerous moving baits but all I could get to work was a fairly still dropshot. I know guys are catching them on A-Rigs and Jigs but no luck here.
