New law to limit the money MPs spend on campaigns

A civil society organization, the Alliance for Campaign Finance Monitoring, has launched a process to introduce a private members' Bill seeking to regulate the financing of election campaigns in the country. The activists say the absence of such a law has affected the quality of leadership and service delivery as wrong people end up in decision making positions.
