We have a new, exciting organization called Deaf Equal Access Foundation of LA. For short: DEAF LA. What do we do? We help fight for our rights in the state of Louisiana. We want equal access to everything, like our hearing peers. We want equal access for education, medical services, hospitals, media, everything. However, we can't do it without your help! We need Deaf, hard-of-hearing, Deaf-blind, CODA, hearing parents, of Deaf children, interpreters, interpreters-in-training, hearing friends, and the list goes on! Really, we need everyone who believes in equal rights for Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and Deaf-blind people. We want equal justice for all. Here's how you can help: Come to our big meeting.
