Neurosurgeon Sentenced To Life In Jail After Botching Surgery

A once prominent neurosurgeon will spend the rest of his life behind bars. Mary Effurd says the doctor's botched surgery on her back has left her paralyzed. Dr. Christopher Duntsch has been found guilty in a Texas court of intentionally maiming patients. Emotions ran high outside court following the life sentence. Caitlin Linuf's mother, Kelly Martin, bled to death during back surgery performed by Dr. Duntsch, who, in TV commercials billed himself as the finest neurosurgeon in Dallas.
