Nagpur Mayor Sandip Joshi attacked, Fadnavis demands arrest of miscreants

Nagpur city Mayor, Sandip Joshi, was attacked by two unidentified persons near Jamtha Cricket Stadium on Tuesday midnight. The incident took place days after he received a threat letter. Joshi escaped the attack unharmed. He said, “I was out with my family. While I was returning two people came in a vehicle and fired bullets on my vehicle, thrice. I had received threats earlier. Police says this might be in connection with anti-encroachment in the city.” Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis addressed media on the incident. He demanded the arrest of the miscreants.
