Yard Machine by MTD 22 inch 179 cc two stage snow blower transmission failed. I ordered the replacement through another source other than MTD because I saved over 50 dollars. The transmission is the NEW UPDATED transmission. After opening up the case on the old transmission you can see why it failed and wonder why would you make a main drive gear out of bronze? Unless you wanted it to fail and have people buy new transmissions.
