MTA New York City Subway : R42 Subway Cars Return To The (M) Line [ BMT Myrtle Avenue Line ]

As of September 2nd, Phase I of the M line rehabilitation has been completed. Phase II brings upon major work that will be occurring between Myrtle Avenue-Broadway & Myrtle Avenue-Wyckoff Avenues. Along with that, shuttle buses will be running between Myrtle Avenue-Broadway & Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues. Shuttle trains will be running between Metropolitan Avenue & Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues....with R42s running on the M line! What you'll see here are 6-car trains of R42s operating on the M shuttle making their way through Seneca Avenue, Fresh Pond Road, Forest Avenue & Metropolitan Avenue Stations.
