Morse code - QRP CW on the top of Genesee Mountain, Colorado

In this recording K0FEI (Frank Ivan) is sending Morse code with his Elecraft KX3 (set at about 5 Watts output - QRP) and his newly home brewed HF vertical dipole. The vertical, despite it's horizontal "elements" (that are only briefly seen in this recording) is omni-directional and perfect for SOTA (Summits On The Air) and other portable amateur radio activities that need to fit into a backpack! This video was recorded on top of Genesee Mountain, a 2,526 metre (8,288 foot) peak just west of Denver along size Interstate 70 in Jefferson County.
