The hammer is one of the most satisfying weapons I've ever used in a video game. Today, we're going to take a look at a build I've been messing with for a few days now that completely revolves around the utility aspect of the hammer: stunning, breaking and exhausting.
As I discuss in the video, this build feels a little overkill for solo and doesn't feel like enough for multiplayer play. In a 4 man group, it feels nearly impossible to break pieces without a full group effort, although the stuns help.
I sat on this for quite a while, so I hope there aren't any mistakes, especially because I will not be around to fix them, but I'll try to comment whenever I can if mistakes are found. I would like my next build video to focus less on high level jewels, we'll see what I can prepare.
My current build:
Weapon - Diablos Shatterer 2 w/ Elementless Jewel
Helm - Dragonking Eyepatch w/ Slider Jewel
Charm - Breaker Charm 2
Chest - Diablos Mail B w/ KO Jewel
Gloves - Nergigante Vambraces B w/ Drain Jewel
Legs - Uragaan Coil B w/ Tenderizer and Drain Jewel
Boots - Dober Greaves B w/ Drain Jewel
Drain Jewels can be swapped for resistance jewels when needed. This build is the version I run right now, things can be swapped like discussed in the video.
Skills:
Level 3 - Weakness Exploit, Partbreaker, Slugger, Stamina Thief
Level 2 - Attack Boost, Agitator
Level 1 - Affinity Sliding, Non-elemental Boost
