Dame Mitsuko Uchida joined forces with Seiji Ozawa and the Saito Kinen Orchestra in 2006 in this performance of Beethoven's Emperor Concerto in E flat major. Ozawa formed this ensemble in 1992 in an effort to merge Japanese orchestras and performers with international artists.
