Miskolc Tram - Villamosvonalak - Straßenbahn Miskolc [1080p]

Miskolc in Hungary has a tram system in normal gauge, today consisting of two lines(1 and 2). Line 2 is serving a loop going to Vasgyár and then going back to the train station. In earlier times this branch had much more passengers but since the steel plant isn´t in use anymore only a few people use the tram here. At weekends line 2 isn´t in service. At the moment there are two different tram types in service in Miskolc, all bought used from other cities. The Tatra KT8D5 were bought from 1991-1997 from Košice(10) and Most(8) and were built from 1986-1991. The line to Felső-Majláth needs bi-directional vehicles like them as at some stations the doors are opened on the left side. The other type are SGP E1 trams from Vienna(licensed reproductions of DUEWAG GT6) built from 1967-1969 and bought from 2002-2004. 25 were bought but only 17 put in service, the other ones are used for spare parts. At the beginning they were used with trailers that were also bought from Vienna but they were withdrawn in 2010. As they are only uni-directional vehicles they can only serve line 2. Miskolc has ordered 31 bi-directional low-floor trams from Skoda(25T) to be delivered from 2013-2015 to replace the old high-floor trams. So if you want to see the old trams in service you shouldn´t wait too long. --------------- Die ungarische Stadt Miskolc verfügt über ein normalspuriges Straßenbahnnetz mit aktuell zwei Linien. Die Linie 2 fährt einen Bogen nach Vasgyár, früher war dort ein Stahlwerk in Betrieb und es gab ein höheres Fahrgastaufkommen, doch seitdem dieses nicht mehr in Betrieb ist, fahren nur noch wenige Leute mit und am Wochenende ist diese Linie nicht in Betrieb. Die Linie nach Felső-Majláth benötigt Zweirichtungsfahrzeuge, da bei einigen Haltestellen die Türen linksseitig geöffnet werden. Alle derzeit im Einsatz stehenden Fahrzeuge wurden gebraucht aus anderen Städten übernommen. Von 1991-1997 übernahm man 18 Fahrzeuge des Typs Tatra KT8D5 aus Košice(10) und Most(8), die 1986-1991 gebaut wurden. 2002-2004 wurden 25 SGP E1 der Baujahre 1967-1969 aus Wien übernommen(Lizenzbauten von DUEWAG GT6), von denen nur 17 in den Fahrgastverkehr gelangten, die anderen dienen als Ersatzteilspender. Ursprünglich fuhren sie zusammen mit ebenfalls übernommenen Beiwagen, die aber 2010 abgestellt wurden. Da es sich um Einrichtungsfahrzeuge handelt, können sie nur auf der Linie 2 fahren. Zwischen 2013-2015 sollen 31 niederflurige Zweirichtungsfahrzeuge von Skoda(T25) geliefert werden. Wer die alten Straßenbahnen also nochmal erleben möchte, sollte sich beeilen.
