Minority Focus: Jessica Currin

August 1, 2000, Jessica Currin's badly burned body was found near Mayfield Middle School in Mayfield, Kentucky. There are unconventional partners joined together who claim many injustices were committed in this murder case by Mayfield City Police, Kentucky State Police, and the Kentucky Bureau of Investigation. Jimmie Moore interviews Dale Elliott, former investigator with the Kentucky Innocence Project; John Poole, private investigator; Tamara Caldwell and Jeffery Burton, who took Alford pleas; Joe Currin, Father of Jessica Currin; David Cross, Father of Quincy Cross, the man convicted in Jessica Currin's murder. Jimmie Moore started as a news broadcaster at Murray State University's WKMS. He went on to D.J. a late night music show, Pillow Talk, at WKYX and later hosted The Jimmie Moore Talk Show on that station. Now he brings his show to Paducah 2. Jimmie has a variety of guests discussing subjects of particular interest to Paducah's minority community. Paducah 2 Television is produced through the facilities and administration of West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
