This week according to the result of our community's vote, we play Nardis, an amazing modal tune written in 1958 by Miles Davis for the Cannonball Adderley album "Portrait of Cannonball". Three fun facts about this song:
1) It was never recorded by Miles Davis
2) Its name might come from these words: "I'm an artist" pronounced with a nasal accent
3) It drives all pianists crazy (most popular victim were Bill Evans and Richie Beirach)
Sylvie plays a Syos tenor mouthpiece with a low circular baffle, a very large chamber, long facing and a 9* opening, on a Selmer Superaction tenor sax and with Marca 4 reeds.
