15th March 1975 and a convincing 3-0 win for Boro over Spurs at Ayresome Park. Hicktons goal was a bit scrappy but Graeme Souness' two goals were very well taken. The first of his brace being the prime example of how to perfectly time your run into the box for a strike on goal...the lad never even broke stride!
