Micro T-copter (free after Kaptein Kuk)
This is my 5. Multirotor Copter I have builded, and is pure fun to fly wild indoor, but is too light for outdor, except for no-wind days/nights.
My other Tricopters are bigger with 18Amp motorcontrollers/ESC's.
All my RC-flight experience is about 10 months, with no flight simulator, only with minor cost of a few new motors, servos and a lot of props ;-)
Mostly with Hobbyking parts:
3 pcs. Motors 10g 18-11 2000kV Micro Brushless Outrunner
3 pcs. 5030 props (all 3 CCW props with the 2 frontmotors tilted 10 -- 15' to compensate)
3 pcs. Turnigy Plush 10A ESC Speed controller(though 6A is enough)
1 pcs. Servo Corona 939 MetalGear Digi 12g 2,7kg. (Smaller one is OK)
1 pcs.KK2.2 multirotor control board with display. Software version 1.0
1 pcs. 4 channel reciever
1 pcs.Batt.LiPo 1000mAh 3S 12V. Motors is only ment for 2S = 2-series batt, but can't lift with 5030 props after half 2s batt is discharged. But on 3s motors have good power.
Arms is 6mm carbonfiber rods, ziptied and hotglued on one 1mm glasfiber plate
Arms is prolonged with green pieces of 1,6mm glasfiber leftovers, mounted with plastic foam for Crash Impact dampening, so it even survived the crash in the end ;-)
Red, green, blue and blue flashing LED-lights is for more easy orientation
Motor to motor distance 230mm
Weight 298g with batt. and all inclusive
Flight time is approx. 7-10 minutes with fresh - calm flying
Best regards
