Metroid Prime - Thardus (Boss) and Spider Ball

Samus and Thardus argue over who has the best name ending in ‘us’. There’s only one way to settle this, and that’s the hard way! Timestamps, comments and possible spoilers below: 1:08 Cutscene to boss 1:52 Beginning of fight 2:00 to 2:30 Sloppy part. You see stone 1a to destruct in Thermal Visor. You won’t see it often. I'm hit twice in a few seconds. 2:30 Stone 1a destructed by Morph Ball bomb. I take damage but this is the end of sloppy part. The rest of the fight is very sharply played. 3:17 Stone 1b destructed and Stone 2a destructed by Morph Ball bomb. 4:33 Hit 3. I’m airborne when he launches ice attack. I can’t do a thing and land in it. 4:38 Stone 2b destructed and stone 3a destructed by Morph Ball bomb. 5:18 Stone 3b destructed and Fog Sequence. We will need to be very close to see him from now on. 5:45 Stone 4a destructed by Morph Ball bomb. 6:09 Hit 4. I see he’s launches ice attack as I land. I get the hell out of here but slightly too late! 6:35 Stone 4b destructed and stone 5a destructed by Morph Ball bomb. 7:26 Stone 5b destructed and stone 6a destructed by Morph Ball bomb. We will see boss from VERY close at 7:45. 8:15 Stone 6b destructed and end of Fog Sequence. We will see Thardus normally again. 8:43 Stone 7a destructed by Morph Ball bomb and hit 5. He runs over me as a boulder. His destination seems random here, I am unlucky. 9:10 Hit 6. I am focused on firing a super missile (takes time) and do not have the time to destroy a boulder launched at me. 9:35 Finishing strike and end of fight cutscene. The run is exceptional as all 7 first shapes of stones, the ones to destruct with thermal visor, are destructed by Morph Ball Bombs. Half the fight is already won without effort. The other half is very good, with a bit more experience, I would have used the Super Missile a bit more often though. 100% Actions: . Scan Thardus . Take Spider Ball .
