Metal Subgenres

Just something I made one day to educate those who know little about metal music or those who simply want a little clarity about the various subgenres and the diversity of metal music. For any metal fans out there..... have you ever heard anyone who doesn't know/understand metal music think that death metal was what all metal sounded like? Or even use the terms death/heavy metal interchangeably, suggesting this incorporates all that metal has to offer? Whether or not you have experienced ignorance from the masses of non-informed about this musical genre, I thought this might be an interesting "enlightenment" to a musical style that is so often shunned by mainstream society.
