Merkel Helix Speedster

Die HELIX Speedster mit ihrem revolutionären Kunststoffschaft geht für ein Jagdgewehr völlig neue Wege: Der oben offene OmegaGrip kombiniert zwei klassische Schaftprinzipien zu einer ergonomischen und schnellen Neuentwicklung. Denn die gute Ergonomie klassischer Lochschaft-Konstruktionen beim Einzelschuss offenbart erst beim Nachladen ihre Schwächen: Beim schnellen Repetieren ist das Ein- und Ausfädeln des Daumens in das Schaftloch hinderlich. Bei der HELIX Speedster mit dem neuen SpeedStock wird dieses Problem eliminiert. Der Daumen gleitet wie auf Schienen entlang der ergonomischen Schaftform in Schussposition in den OmegaGrip und beim Repetieren wieder heraus. Der automatisch höhenverstellbare Schaftrücken lässt sich auf Knopfdruck in seiner Höhe anpassen – ein wichtiger Vorteil für den präzisen Schuss mit Zielfernrohr. ----------------------------------------------------------------- The Helix by Merkel has set standards in ergonomics and intuitive handling as a linear bolt action rifle with a transmission bolt system. Now the Suhl hunting rifle specialist furthermore presents a stock development, which has been tailored to the Helix system. The new SpeedStock is a synthetic (thumbhole) stock construct, which opens entirely new paths for a hunting rifle. Utilising the top-opened OmegaGrip, this stock concept combines two classic stock principles into an ergonomic and fast novelty. The OmegaGrip leads hand and thump while repeating – as if on rails. The SpeedStock will initially go into action with the new Helix Speedster.
