Men's over 107 kg - IPC Powerlifting World Championships

The 2014 IPC Powerlifting World Championships will be held in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and are expected to attract around 300 athletes from 50 countries. The competition, running from 5-11 April 2014, will be held at the Dubai Club for the Disabled. The city of Dubai itself previously held the world championships in 1998 and is accustomed to holding para-sport events, including the Fazza International Powerlifting Championships and the Fazza International Athletics Competition, which are both held annually. The 2014 world championships will be the latest stop for athletes on their road to Rio 2016. Dubai enjoys, without a doubt, one of the best locations on the planet.
