Meet the Faculty: John Sutton, DMA

Associate Professor, School of Music; Chair of Choral Activities; Conductor of Oratorio Choir and University Choir and Orchestra John Sutton, DMA, serves as chair of choral studies in Azusa Pacific University’s School of Music, and conducts the University Choir and Orchestra and Oratorio Choir. His professional career spans three decades of work in community, church, academic, and professional settings, from major choral and instrumental works for the concert hall to music for television and major motion pictures, including the Harry Potter series, the Spider Man series, The Da Vinci Code, and Fantastic Four. He has performed throughout the U.S. and internationally.
