An avid lover of nature and often retreating to the countryside, Beethoven described his piece, while programmatic, as an “expression of feeling rather than a painting”. Come enjoy this beloved classic, as well as Khachaturian’s cello concerto performed by McGill Concerto competition winner Braden McConnell and a new work composed by Kit Soden, winner of the 2017-2018 Andrew Svoboda Composition Award. --------------- INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/schulichmusic FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/SchulichMusic/ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/schulichmusic WEBSITE: https://mcgill.ca/music/events --------------- The Schulich School of Music of McGill University is located in downtown Montreal, one of Canada's most vibrant and international cities.
