Mazda Miata Cylinder Head Resurface

Here's another problem that John Edwards @ Costa Mesa R&D AUtomotive Machine Shop was asked to solve. His client has a Miata cylinder head that was resurfaced on a belt sander. The surface finish was horrible and caused the gasket to blow out. A quick trip on the Sunnen HBS1300 and the cylinder head had a more than acceptable surface on 16 Ra.
