When you cruise to other parts of the world and get to stay for more than a short time, you get to shop like a local. One thing that we found in Mexico was the shopping can be quite a bit different than in the USA. There are some very nice grocery stores, just like and in some cases batter than in the US. There are also some local shopping places that cater to the older way of shopping. In these local places you can find much fresher goods than the pre-butchered, pre-cut, pre-wrapped, pre-packaged stuff you find the store shelves of the US type markets. We always found it fun to do some local shopping!
